Thought it would be pretty cool to push the whole arachnid thing on the manticore and give him uropygid jaws that kinda fold up to look like a human face. It’s not like he needs jaws to speak.
Manticores are supposed to be raised by or with other manticores, not humans, so he’s got so he’s got some weird dysphoria going on and refuses to eat food in front of anyone else.
I think maybe as they age they get more armor, not sure yet.
